The International Professional Training Certification (IPTC), officially appointed by the Federation International Football Skating (FIFS), successfully organized the 15th Senior and the 1st Junior Football Skating World Cup 2024 (FSWC24) in Trabzon, Türkiye. This landmark event—held from 20 to 26 November 2024—was confirmed as the largest Football Skating championship since the sport’s foundation in 1882.
Under the presidency and direct leadership of Dr. Mehdi Salman Pour, the President of the World Cup Organization and a central global figure in developing Football Skating, FSWC24 achieved unprecedented participation, visibility, and international recognition.
The championship was proudly hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Türkiye and strongly supported by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, transforming the city into a global arena where elite athletes, national teams, referees, and officials gathered from across continents.
This year’s edition introduced a major milestone: the first-ever Junior World Cup, strengthening the developmental pathway of the sport and identifying the next generation of Football Skating champions. Matches were complemented by professional referee clinics, coaching seminars, and international certification programs directly supervised by IPTC.
Dr. Mehdi Salman Pour expressed that the 2024 World Cup stands as a turning point for the sport’s global expansion.
“FSWC24 was not only a competition—it was a celebration of 142 years of history and the beginning of a new international era for Football Skating,” he stated.
He emphasized that IPTC’s educational and organizational framework ensured world-class standards in every stage of preparation and operation.
Both the Turkish government and the Trabzon Municipality commended the event for its cultural, social, and economic impact, noting the strong international attention brought to the region. Spectators were treated to world-level performances, technical showcases, and a vibrant closing ceremony that honored both senior and junior champions.
With its historical record participation and dual-category success, FSWC24 set a new global benchmark. IPTC and FIFS have already initiated discussions on expanding future World Cups, solidifying Türkiye’s 2024 edition as a defining moment in the sport’s modern history.
